MQSeries Monitor
The WebSphere MQSeries probe monitors queue managers on Windows
systems, making it easy to monitor events and activities on queue managers on
multiple nodes in your network. The probe produces event and trace messages,
indicating what processing is taking place. This information is written to a
log file and when MQSeries event messages are detected, these messages are read,
converted into readable event messages and displayed on the NimBUS Enterprise
Console.
The probe detects and reports the following event types:
- Authority events, occur when access rights to MQSeries resources are detected
- Channel events, reported as a result of conditions detected during channel
operations, such as channel activated, channel deactivated etc
- IMS Bridge events, if installed: bridge started, bridge stopped
- Inhibit events, reported when a queue has been blocked for put or get
- Local events, reports problems with definitions of local resources
- Performance events, reported when threshold conditions have been breached
by a resource, such as queue full etc
- Remote events, reports problems with definition of remote resources
- Start and stop events, reports if queue manages are active or not
Additionally:
- Lists all MQ managers on the server
- Lists channels and queues with status and statistics information
for the MQ manager
